Wellteq Digital Health Inc says examine reveals that its expertise can enhance staff’ sleep

Wellteq Digital Health Inc told investors that its technology has been to improve sleep and the wellbeing of employees across a large financial institution in Asia.

The firm’s sleep program was deployed in partnership with data company WTW (NASDAQ:WTW) and a resultant article has been penned called: ‘The Hidden Public Health Problem of Inadequate Sleep: Deploying Digital Mobile Technology to Improve Employee Sleep Hygiene in Asia’.

This was published in the USA in the Journal of Community Medicine & Public Health Care.

The results of the study come from 13 countries, eight enterprise markets and 529 participants and “demonstrate a substantial and clinically meaningful improvement in nightly sleep duration achieved by 59% of employee participants”, Wellteq said.

“The weighted average sleep duration increase was 38 minutes of nightly additional sleep achieved. Based on an initial average sleep duration of 7 hours, this represents a 9% increase in weighted average nightly sleep duration,” it added.

The company said its ability to assess and achieve better sleep among large employee populations through a scalable digital platform was a key contributor to its growth. For example, revenue from the global sleep market is projected to reach US$137 billion by 2026, it said.
